How It Works

Black leather jacket and gloves with matching patches on an American flag backdrop.

The Steady Grip system is three pieces working as one — and it takes about five seconds to understand.

Step 1 — The Rider Puts On the Jacket or Vest
The Steady Grip jacket and vest feature full-height Velcro panels on both sides of the jacket or vest front. The rider wears it like any other jacket. Nothing changes about the ride.

Step 2 — The Passenger Puts On the Gloves
The Steady Grip gloves have Velcro on the palms. The passenger puts them on before mounting the bike. That's it.

Step 3 — Grip, Lock, Ride
The passenger places their hands on the front panels of the rider's jacket or vest. The Velcro locks instantly. In a shear force — the kind that happens when a bike accelerates or hits a bump — the bond is nearly impossible to break. The passenger isn't just holding on. They're connected.

And When It's Time to Let Go?
Simple. The passenger lifts their palms away from the jacket in a natural peeling motion and the gloves release cleanly. No fumbling. No fighting it. Just peel and you're free.

The bottom line: You can't accidentally lose your grip. You can only intentionally release it.
